Medical Aesthetic
Medical aesthetics is a field of medical practice that aims to improve a person's appearance using non-surgical or minimally invasive procedures. These procedures are generally performed for aesthetic purposes such as skin rejuvenation, wrinkle reduction, fat removal and lip filling. Examples include botox injections, dermal fillers, laser treatments and chemical peels. Medical aesthetic procedures require short recovery periods because they are less invasive than surgical intervention. Such procedures can help boost a person's self-confidence and achieve a rejuvenated appearance. However, as with any medical procedure, Medical Aesthetic procedures should be performed carefully by a qualified healthcare professional.
Medical Aesthetic Applications offered by Dr. Ahmet Özyiğit:
1- Botox (Botulinum toxin) Application:
Botulinum toxin is a toxin produced by botulinum bacteria, and in Medical Aesthetics, botulinum toxin application is a procedure used to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. This procedure is also generally known as “Botox”.
Botulinum toxin reduces dynamic wrinkles on the face by causing temporary relaxation of muscles. It is especially widely used in the treatment of wrinkles on the forehead, lines between the eyebrows and around the eyes. During the application, it is injected into certain muscle groups with a thin needle. The toxin provides the effect of smoothing wrinkles by preventing the muscles from moving.
The results of botulinum toxin application usually become apparent in about a week and the effect can last for about 3-6 months. Therefore, reapplication may be required at regular intervals. Side effects such as mild swelling or bruising may occur after the application, but they are usually short-term and temporary. Botulinum toxin Applications should only be performed by a licensed and experienced healthcare professional and should be customized to suit the individual's needs and wishes.

2- Filler (Hyaluronic Acid) Application:
Facial filler application is a Medical Aesthetic procedure used to fill wrinkles on the skin, restore volume or reshape facial lines. In this procedure, specially designed fillers are injected under the skin through a thin needle or catheter. Facial filler Applications are generally minimally invasive and provide the desired aesthetic results with a non-surgical method.
Hyaluronic acid is used as a filler. Since hyaluronic acid is a substance that helps maintain moisture in the skin, it is used to add volume to the face and fill wrinkles in the skin.
Facial filler Applications can often be painless or slightly uncomfortable and require quick post-procedure recovery times. Results can be seen immediately and provide long-lasting effects, but reapplication may be required after a certain period of time.
The type and amount of fillers and the areas to be applied are personalized depending on the person's wishes and needs.

3- Skin Revitalization and Cellular Rejuvenation:
Skin revitalization and cellular rejuvenation treatments include a variety of Medical Aesthetic procedures aimed at reducing signs of skin aging and achieving a younger, fresher skin appearance.
NAD, Glutathione, Vitamin C, NCTF called Paris glow and different vitamin and mineral combinations are generally used to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin in a cellular sense. However, the process called mesobotox aims to provide renewal and brightness to the skin without the tension caused by Botox by superficially injecting the mixture of Botox and vitamins/minerals.
Each of these treatments can be customized to address different skin concerns and individual needs.
